 Job Description

The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



  • Researching new technologies and participating in the architecture and implementation of new solutions

  • Supporting and collaborating with IT team members during the Agile development process iterations

  • Assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of our internal cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services)

  • Actively participating in the discussions on deliverables, estimates and commitments and develop using latest technologies while following Agile methodologies (Kanplan)

  • Maintaining and continually improving internal applications

  • Providing application support to internal users

  • Assisting in the release management, deployments and any other operations in respect to DevOps



THE PERFECT PROFILE
We welcome applications from junior candidates with the following set of skills and experience:



  • Understanding of multi-tiered architectures including web servers, load balancers, application servers and storage

  • Hands on experience with network technologies (firewalls, DNS, HTTP, IP and OSI Network)

  • Familiar with cloud based technologies and concepts (Amazon AWS preferred)

  • Experience with relational database management system (MSSQL/MySQL)

  • Experience with coding web application (.Net/C#, web technologies)

  • Knowledge of API management and web service programming methods (RESTful)

  • Knowledge in using source control and branching (Git)

  • General knowledge of system administration (Microsoft Windows or Linux)

  • Familiarity with the software development life-cycle and agile methodologies

  • Understanding of stateless and loosely coupled distributed applications

  • Familiarity with deployment technologies is a bonus (Bamboo, Jenkins)

You have the ability to break down raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identify the issues at hand.
